Kvasny Prumysl publishes results of basic and applied research and practice from the sphere of agricultural biotechnology and associated spheres (chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, microbiology, physiology, technology, engineering, economy and history etc).
The reviewed articles are published only English language or in English and Czech/Slovak version.
Part of each issue is devoted to professional organizations’ notices and news important for professional public (information about congresses, seminars, book reviews, personal notices etc.).
The international Board of Editors consists of distinguished scientists and experts from the brewing and beverage industries. All scientific contributions are reviewed.
Since 2018 Kvasny prumysl has been included in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) in Web of Science Core Collection. ESCI is a multidisciplinary Citation Index covering all areas of the scholarly literature of the sciences, social sciences and arts & humanities.
The journal is indexed in the following databases: ESCI, Chemical Abstracts, CAB Abstracts, AGRIS, BRI, VITIS, FSTA, Czech Agricultural and Food Bibliography, Czech National Bibliography.
